Continuing IT Training Program - Mobile Financial Services Security

Program Overview

This course will provide training on how an organization should securely develop, deploy, and monitor mobile banking applications and mobile payment systems.

Key Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define mobile technology security;
  • Discuss mobile computing fundamentals, assessing mobile banking risks, and developing secure mobile banking applications; and,
  • Identify meeting compliance requirements, business continuity and security incident response concerns.

Target Audience

Examiners or ITEAs who will lead or participate on level B and A examinations.

This course is open to appropriate staff of the FDIC and partner government regulatory agencies. This course is not open to the public or staff of private banks.

Prerequisites

Participant should have attended ITEC, Introduction to Security, and Introduction to Telecommunication and Networking.
