The FDIC Office of Legislative Affairs responds directly to Members of Congress and their staff. Congressional inquiries tend to be time-sensitive in nature so congressional offices are strongly encouraged to contact the Office of Legislative Affairs by e-mail as directed below.

If you would like to confirm who the primary federal regulator is for a specific bank, try entering the name on FDIC's BankFind, select the appropriate bank, and then look under the "Primary Federal Regulator" field. If not the FDIC, please direct the inquiry appropriately to the congressional affairs office at either the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency or the Federal Reserve Board.
