FDIC and Bank On Greater Milwaukee Host Workplace-Sponsored Financial Wellness in Wisconsin

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Bank On Greater Milwaukee (BOGM) will celebrate America Saves Week and Wisconsin Financial Literacy Month with an event encouraging the expansion of employer-sponsored financial wellness programs. This meeting will provide detail information about two significant programs:

  • ELEVATE Wisconsin®, a financial wellness program established through a public-private partnership with the State of Wisconsin and the Financial Fitness Group. It aims to empower more than 100,000 individuals by 2025, starting with State of Wisconsin employees. Two banks working with the Financial Fitness Group will share insights from adopting this empowerment strategy.
  • America Saves at Work (ASAW) directly supports employers working to optimize their financial wellness programs and focus on the Emergency Savings tool kits developed through a pilot in Wisconsin in 2022.
