FDIC Hosts Los Angeles Tri-Annual Alliance for Economic Inclusion Forum: Building Financial Capacity during Tax Season

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is hosting the Los Angeles Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) Forum. The forum will focus on opportunities and resources for Building Financial Capacity during Tax Season for low- and moderate-income (LMI) households. The speakers will also present findings from the 2021 FDIC National Survey of Unbanked and Underbanked Households. The forum will further highlight opportunities to build financial capacity by supporting Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites, discuss strategies and resources to bank the unbanked, and promote a commitment to savings through the launch of the LA Saves 2023 campaign. The AEI Working Groups will unveil the 2023 Action Plans to increase economic inclusion and share how attendees can proactively engage in the efforts.
