Supporting Disaster Recovery through Partnerships between Community Banks and CDFIs

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Western Women's Business Center (WWBC), and Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College Small Business Center (A-B Tech SBC) will host a forum to encourage collaborations between banks and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) in North Carolina to meet the credit and capital needs of consumers and small businesses in designated disaster areas. The FDIC will also highlight regulatory guidance for financial institutions that desire to support disaster recovery efforts consistent with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). Speakers will share lending products and resources for consumers and small businesses.
