The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host an event promoting affordable housing in Iowa. This event is an opportunity for banks and community development practitioners to collaboration and highlight best practices that banks can utilize under the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). Speakers will discuss community development and affordable housing strategies and programs available for low and moderate income (LMI) families. FDIC examination staff will provide information on CRA and how banks and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) can collaborate to meet the community development and affordable housing needs in the community.
