The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will host an Interagency Affordable Housing Forum in Waco, TX. The event aims to provide housing organizations and developers with a platform to present to banks the affordable housing needs, challenges, and opportunities to support community development in the Waco and Killeen-Temple Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs). The event will commence with a community development bus tour for bankers showcasing various lending, investment, and service opportunities. This will be followed by a multifamily development session, featuring HUD, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas, and other relevant programs that support lending and capacity building for developers. There will be discussions of local projects with community organizations and developers to identify resources and explore additional collaboration opportunities.
