The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRB Dallas), and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host an Interagency Fair Lending Forum for financial institutions operating in Greater Houston. Examiners will share information about identifying and mitigating redlining risks, measuring the effectiveness of an institution’s fair lending program in relation to emerging risks in the market, and examination expectations and processes. Presenters will also address challenges institutions face and share strategies and collaboration opportunities to enhance bank efforts to reach untapped and underserved markets.
