The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a small business lending forum to assess the credit and capital needs of minority small businesses in South Carolina. The forum will highlight opportunities to strengthen connections between Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), banks, Small Business Development and Technical Centers (SBDTCs), and community-based stakeholders to support minority-owned and historically underutilized small businesses. Representatives will share and discuss innovative approaches and resources to help advance equitable access to affordable capital and credit to promote economic inclusion and healthy communities.
