The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston (FHLB-B), U. S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), and Way Finders (WF) will host a forum to explore ways in which banks and other community stakeholders can support homeownership as a means of building wealth for low- and moderate- income individuals and families in the Springfield, MA MSA. The event will feature representatives from various organizations who will highlight programs that expand homeownership opportunities, including down payment assistance, Section 8 to Homeownership programs, and mortgage products designed for low- and moderate- income families. The speakers will also discuss opportunities for meaningful collaborations and partnerships.
