The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a virtual event to raise awareness of small business development and capital access opportunities in Alabama rural areas. The webinar will explore how the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Small Business Administration’s (SBA) federal loans, investments, and services can increase the capacity to lend to underserved small businesses in Alabama. The speakers will discuss innovative partnership ideas and highlight business loan opportunities for rural Alabamians. Attendees will be provided with resources and tools for rural small business development, and financial institutions will be encouraged to support rural programs and small businesses through community development investments, loans, and services.
