The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host an in-person event to bring financial institutions and community stakeholders together to discuss opportunities to address account access and small dollar loan challenges faced by unbanked and underserved individuals in Birmingham and surrounding areas. The panelists will discuss innovative partnership ideas to improve the financial health of Alabamians who desire to establish a secure financial future and build economic independence. Attendees will be provided with resources and tools to support the ongoing investment needs for financial education, and safe and affordable banking products and services.
