The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a webinar outlining the St. Louis Regional Financial Empowerment Coalition and other partners’ efforts to promote the America Saves project "Saving for Major Milestones." The FDIC will present results from its 2023 Unbanked and Underbanked Household Survey. This webinar aims to foster partnerships among financial institutions and community based organizations (CBOs) to support financial stability programs that serve minority, youth, and low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities. The presenters will discuss programs that encourage financial stability and asset building, as well as new approaches to decreasing wealth disparities.
