FDIC Hosts a Webinar on Expanding Affordable Account Access to Underserved in Iowa

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a webinar for Iowa bankers and community based organizations that will explore the benefits of offering low cost and Bank On certified accounts. The Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund (CFE) will review Bank On certification processes and the benefits of offering low cost accounts. The relaunch of Bank on Iowa will be discussed, and banks and community-based organizations will explore the benefits of formulating partnerships that may result in moving unbanked individuals to begin positive banking relationships.
