The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is hosting an event highlighting efforts of the United Way of Southeast Missouri and the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis aims to inspire new workforce development initiatives and support existing ones in Southeast Missouri. The event seeks to encourage collaboration between banks and community-based organizations (CBOs) to create and share workforce development opportunities that support economic mobility. The event will highlight the FDIC's efforts to increase the impact of workforce development by showcasing the FDIC-led initiative, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis pre-apprenticeship program, and the United Way of Southeast Missouri's United We Work program, along with many other career development resources.
