The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is hosting the Los Angeles Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) Forum: Building Financial Capacity. The FDIC will launch the LA Saves 2024 campaign. The event will also present strategies for engaging Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)-certified bank volunteers with participating VITA sites, linking clients to the VITA sites, promoting the opening of bank accounts, and leverage Bank On Los Angeles County. The AEI Working Groups will meet over lunch and finalize the 2024 Action Plans to increase economic inclusion. You can join a Working Group and actively participate in driving the efforts to enhance economic inclusion among low- and moderate-income Angelinos and promote access to capital for small businesses.
