FDIC Hosts Los Angeles Tri-Annual AEI Forum: Building Financial Capacity

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is hosting the Los Angeles Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) Forum: Building Financial Capacity. The FDIC will launch the LA Saves 2024 campaign. The event will also present strategies for engaging Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)-certified bank volunteers with participating VITA sites, linking clients to the VITA sites, promoting the opening of bank accounts, and leverage Bank On Los Angeles County. The AEI Working Groups will meet over lunch and finalize the 2024 Action Plans to increase economic inclusion. You can join a Working Group and actively participate in driving the efforts to enhance economic inclusion among low- and moderate-income Angelinos and promote access to capital for small businesses.

Parking is available on site on a first-come, first-serve basis. The maximum cost is $12.00. Payment must be paid in cash with bills no larger than $20.

Who Should Attend:

Organizations that participate or wish to participate in the Los Angeles Alliance for Economic Inclusion. Participation is limited to insured financial institutions, nonprofit community-based organizations, community development financial institutions, and government agencies.
