The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host a webinar for New England bankers to learn about Community Development activities that revitalize and stabilize designated disaster areas. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will speak on how other federal agencies, such as the Small Business Administration (SBA), Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), support disaster recovery efforts. Attendees will hear from Vermont Community Loan Fund, Vermont Community Foundation, and Community Foundation North Central Massachusetts to learn how local financial institutions are working with them to support recovery efforts. This webinar will provide insight into innovative approaches and industry practices for partnerships to support community development lending, services, and investment opportunities that may garner favorable Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) consideration.
