The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is hosting a How Banks Can Support Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) in California webinar. This webinar will encourage banks to partner and support the expansion of Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites through volunteerism and other partnerships during the 2024 tax season. VITA sites offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns, help qualified low- and moderate-income (LMI) households access the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), and offer other valuable services on site.
