The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Small Business Administration (SBA), and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) have partnered to present a regional economic development series entitled “Path to Prosperity”. This hybrid event will include five panel discussions comprised of lending, economic development, relationship building and government contracting experts. Facilitated conversations will focus on identifying challenges and sharing best practices and innovative solutions to capital access. Presenters will share how financial institutions, non-profits, and community-based organizations can encourage the development of a “Path to Prosperity” by incentivizing underbanked small businesses to establish relationships with an insured financial institutions. The event will also include lender matchmaking sessions for small business owners across Florida. The event will further the FDIC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening bank-community partnerships in minority business communities.
