The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRB-SF), and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) are hosting an Arizona Community Development Forum: Leveraging Special Purpose Credit Programs (SPCPs) to Reach Underserved Markets. The Forum will highlight how lenders can leverage SPCPs as a tool to reach minority borrowers and markets, and address disparities in equitable access to capital. Panelists will discuss how special purpose lending programs can be designed to increase minority small business lending or increase minority homeownership. The Forum will offer insights on how the programs were created, structured, launched, and lessons learned along the way.
