The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host Wealth Building in the Springfield, MA MSA Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) Community – Homeownership. During this forum, participants will discuss root causes of low homeownership rates in the BIPOC community and implement actionable items to begin resolving them or enhance efforts already underway. Additionally, banks and community organizations will identify opportunities for collaboration to increase BIPOC homeownership.
