The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host an Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) event - Moving the Financial Needle towards Economic Mobility. The webinar will inform financial institutions and community stakeholders about opportunities to invest and to partner with the statewide Bank On Alabama and expand financial education initiatives. The speakers will overview Bank On, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and financial literacy resources and strategies. They will also give an in-depth perspective of the socioeconomic conditions communities in Alabama are facing. The speakers will discuss innovative partnership opportunities to promote and encourage financial education, saving, and lending. The attendees will receive resources and tools to support the ongoing investment needs for financial education and safe and affordable banking products and services.
