The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a forum to promote safe and affordable banking as an economic inclusion gateway for language- and culturally-challenged Latinos in the San Diego area. The event will feature resources and programs from both, local organizations that provide technical assistance to Spanish-speaking, low- and moderate-income individuals, and insured financial institutions that have deposit products responsive to the needs of Spanish-speaking individuals. Presenters will provide actionable opportunities for members of the local financial eco-system to collaborate to bank Spanish-speakers. The event will be conducted in Spanish.
