In recognition of National Small Business Week, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRB-SF) are hosting an annual small business lending forum. The event will promote new micro-loan products that support access to capital and other financial services for small businesses in Alaska, including rural and tribal communities. The event will also provide an overview of the current conditions of small businesses in Alaska and explore how the lending community can help address barriers to accessing capital, especially in underserved communities.
