Join the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) for a look at how community organizations and banks create mutually beneficial collaborations to serve low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities and small businesses. The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) encourages financial institutions to meet the financial services needs of their communities. In recognition of Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) season, this webinar will use an example of VITA programs to clarify the CRA definition of community development. Webinar participants will also receive feedback about how CRA relates to their programs.
