FDIC and OCC Host Webinar on Understanding and Responding to Pittsburgh's Racial and Gender Inequity in Pittsburgh

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host a 90-minute online event in which attendees will learn about specific financial inclusion findings from the 2019 Pittsburgh Gender Equity Report. Presenters from the City of Pittsburgh’s Urban Redevelopment Authority, Financial Empowerment Center, PGH Lab Beta Testing Program, Neighborhood Legal Services, and The Greenwood Plan will describe their outreach to women and minorities, and how their programs, services, and resources help women and minorities utilize their skills and talents to build wealth, and participate in the financial system for long term benefit. Webinar attendees will learn about ways they can support these or similar programs in order to help build a more inclusive Pittsburgh.
