FDIC Hosts Community Development – Community Bank Collaboration Training in Illinois

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a virtual forum focused on how community organizations and local government can collaborate with banks to advance their missions to serve small businesses/small farms and low- and moderate-income communities. Presenters will explain how the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) influences the establishment of loan, investment, or service collaborations with banks and share resources to help identify potential bank partners. Bankers will also provide perspective on developing mutually beneficial collaborative relationships.
