The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) of San Francisco will host a webinar to help revitalize the African American Community in the historic Westside of Las Vegas, NV. Minority low- and moderate-income households in Southern Nevada experience disproportionate access to economic development programs and resources, especially related to financial education, financial services, entrepreneurship training, and affordable housing. This webinar complements efforts from Las Vegas community stakeholders to revitalize the city’s Historic Westside, through a holistic plan rooted in the local African-American community. This webinar provides a platform for local agencies, community developers, and grassroots organizations to present ready-to-fund programs addressing priority community development needs to bankers, and other potential funding and operational partners.

- Kathi Thomas-Gibson, Director of Community Services, City of Las Vegas
