FDIC Kansas City Alliance for Economic Inclusion Hosts Bank On Wichita and Opportunities to #GETBANKED

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Kansas City Alliance for Economic Inclusion will host a webinar to highlight Bank On Wichita and the FDIC national #GetBanked initiative. Presenters will share how participation in Bank On coalitions and the development of certified safe accounts can help unbanked, low- and moderate-income (LMI) individuals throughout the state of Kansas enter the banking mainstream. The event will also feature technical assistance for bankers and a discussion on collaborations between banks and community organizations to support unbanked, LMI populations including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). Attendees will also learn about the FDIC #GetBanked initiative, webpage, and resources to bring unbanked consumers into the financial mainstream.
