FDIC Hosts Financial Institution Roundtable: Future Bankers and Financial Professionals Summer Camp 2022 for Hartford, CT

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a roundtable to solicit the interest of area financial institutions in participating in the Hartford Future Bankers and Financial Professionals (HBC) Camp prior to the official launch of the program in July 2022. Presenters will provide an overview of HBC, a collaboration between the Center for Financial Training, the National Academy Foundation (NAF), and Greater Hartford area high schools to place high-achieving, minority students from low- and moderate-income (LMI) areas on the path to careers in the financial services industry. Attendees will learn how they can support the program’s efforts to provide students with work experience at financial institutions and intensive classroom instruction on financial education and career readiness.
