In recognition of “America Saves Week,” the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a webinar on strategies to help unbanked communities in the St. Cloud, MN area understand options for opening low-cost bank accounts. Presenters will discuss the barriers households face in opening, accessing, and using bank accounts and how low-cost bank accounts can help households meet their financial goals. Bankers will highlight low-cost bank accounts offered in the St. Cloud area, including how the accounts work and how members of low- and moderate-income households can open them.
