FDIC Hosts Webinar to Promote Support for Black-owned Businesses in the Bay Area

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is hosting a webinar to strengthen local networks of service and capital providers to reduce the chronic undercapitalization of Black-owned businesses in the Bay Area. Presenters will highlight opportunities to expand lending, business consulting services and technical assistance to Black-owned businesses (including women-owned companies) by strengthening and participating in referral networks between financial institutions, community development financial institutions, government agencies, and community-based organizations.
