FDIC Hosts Financial Empowerment and Account Access in Kentucky

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Kentucky Financial Empowerment Commission, Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, and Bank On Kentucky will host a webinar to promote financial empowerment and account access for unbanked populations in Kentucky. Presenters will share findings from the FDIC’s 2019 survey, How America Banks: Household Use of Banking and Financial Services. Participants will learn characteristics of unbanked households and the efforts underway to provide access to affordable, sustainable deposit accounts for unbanked Kentuckians.
