FDIC Hosts the 2022 Community Development Update in Indiana

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) hosts the 2022 Community Development Update in recognition of Financial Wellness Month, featuring the new “How Money Smart Are You?” financial education game. Discussions will address how banks and community stakeholders can use the game to help Indiana consumers increase their credit scores and access affordable credit.

Other discussion topics will include the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) implications of serving low- and moderate-income consumers; a resource to help banks continue learning about CRA; how community organizations help regulators evaluate bank CRA efforts; Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA); and FDIC’s 2022 community development outreach plan for Indiana.
