FDIC Helps Launch a New Bank On Collaborative Initiative in Salt Lake, Utah

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), in collaboration with key local community organizations, will host a webinar in Salt Lake to support the launch of the new local Bank On initiative. Presenters will highlight how the Bank On collaborative will benefit Salt Lake's low and moderate-income (LMI), minorities, and communities of color. More importantly, presenters will provide specific collaboration opportunities that will help financial institutions and other local organizations meet their community development goals. The event focuses on promoting Bank On as an effective tool to increase the offering of safe and affordable deposit accounts, and systematically reduce the amount of unbanked individuals and households in the Salt Lake region of Utah.
