NEW ELECTRONIC BULLETIN FOR FDIC ANALYSIS

SUBJECT:FYI, An Electronic Bulletin on Emerging Issues in Banking and the Economy

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has introduced FYI, an electronic bulletin summarizing FDIC analysis of emerging issues in banking and the economy. FYIbrings to your desktop current information about the trends that are driving change in the banking industry, plus links to other FDIC publications and data tools. A copy of the first edition of FYI is attached.

Every issue of FYI will be available on the FDIC Web site at www.fdic.gov. To regularly receive FYI by e-mail, you may subscribe online by going to www.fdic.gov or by sending your e-mail address to fyi@fdic.gov. If you prefer to receive each issue of FYI via fax, you may leave your fax number at the e-mail address above or by calling toll-free 1-877-ASK-FDIC (1-877-275-3342). Press 1 for the English option and then 7 to be directly connected.

We suggest that you also share this announcement with your senior operations officer, training officer and any other employees you believe could find our FYI bulletin useful.
