The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a regional roundtable to explore the interest of area financial institutions in becoming active partners in the Future Bankers and Financial Professionals (FBC) Camp scheduled to start in July 2025. Presenters will provide an overview of FBC, a collaboration between the Center for Financial Training, the National Academy Foundation (NAF), and high schools across the New York region to place high-achieving, minority students from low- and moderate-income (LMI) areas on the path to careers in the financial services industry. Attendees will learn how they can support program efforts to provide students with work experience at financial institutions and intensive classroom instruction on financial education and career readiness.
