The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is hosting the Los Angeles Tri-Annual Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) Forum: Disaster Recovery and Economic Inclusion. The AEI Forum will host a panel to discuss the resources available to address the Los Angeles Fire Disaster. The Forum will launch the AEI VITA efforts through a panel discussion providing pragmatic steps to engage VITA-certified bank volunteers with participating VITA sites, linking clients to the VITA sites, and promote the opening of bank accounts. The Forum will also launch the LA Saves 2025 campaign. The three AEI Working Groups will meet over lunch and finalize 2025 Action Plans to further economic inclusion.
Participation is the AEI is limited to banks, credit unions, community-based nonprofits, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), foundations, and government agencies serving Los Angeles. All AEI participating organizations are invited to the Forum. If your organization falls within one of the categories listed above and is not involved in the AEI, we invite you to join our efforts to expand economic inclusion in Los Angeles.
