FDIC Hosts Forum Promoting Savings and Credit Building to Secure a Financial Future in South Carolina

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a forum focused on promoting savings and credit building in South Carolina. The primary goal is to establish partnerships between financial institutions and community-based organizations to enhance investments in savings and credit building programs in low- to moderate-income (LMI) communities. The forum will feature presentations on effective strategies for engaging LMI communities and addressing credit score disparities. Participants will gain insights into methods and resources aimed at supporting improved financial stability for LMI individuals.
