FDIC Hosts Establishing a Community Development Corporation for San Luis Obispo County, CA

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a community development forum to encourage collaboration among banks and key community stakeholders that desire to establish a community development corporation primarily serving San Luis Obispo County, CA. This forum will focus on identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to encourage banks and key community stakeholders to assist in funding the creation of a Community Development Corporation (CDC) in San Luis Obispo County. The CDC would exist to improve the financial stability of low- and moderate-income residents and small businesses throughout unincorporated San Luis Obispo County, initially focusing on Oceano, CA.
