The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host a banker roundtable in Augusta, GA. The purpose of the roundtable is to understand the evolving needs impacting Augusta's communities, particularly in the context of disaster recovery. A presenter from the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta will discuss their disaster recovery research. Attendees will also receive information about opportunities to make safe and sound investments in low- to moderate-income communities that may qualify for favorable consideration under the legacy Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) rule regarding disaster recovery.
