The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) will host a forum designed to share approaches to utilizing local resources and allies to support community development activities. The forum will spotlight resources and partners essential for making safe and sound investments, particularly in low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities and to LMI borrowers. Presenters will also discuss the legacy Community Reinvestment Act, eligible community development activities outside of bank assessment areas, and successes of local communities. Attendees will learn best practices to improve the well-being of residents through meaningful partnerships, products, services, and strategies tailored to LMI consumers.
