On Friday, October 26, 2012, NOVA Bank was closed by the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities. The FDIC was named Receiver. An assuming institution could not be located; therefore, the FDIC will fulfill its obligation to insured depositors by mailing checks for their insured amounts.
The FDIC as Receiver for NOVA Bank, Berwyn, PA has taken all actions necessary to terminate the Receivership Estate. The Receiver published a legal notice of intent to terminate the receivership on April 16, 2024 and has made all dividend distributions required by law.
Effective June 1, 2024, the Receiver was discharged and the Receivership Estate was terminated and ceased existence as a legal entity.
