On Friday, October 30, 2009, North Houston Bank was closed by the Texas Department of Banking. The FDIC was named Receiver. U.S. Bank National Association (U.S. Bank), Minneapolis, MN acquired all deposit accounts.
The FDIC as Receiver for North Houston Bank, Houston, TX has taken all actions necessary to terminate the Receivership Estate. The Receiver published a legal notice of intent to terminate the receivership on June 24, 2021 and has made all dividend distributions required by law.
Effective November 1, 2021, the Receiver was discharged and the Receivership Estate was terminated and ceased existence as a legal entity.
