On Friday, April 16, 2010, First Federal Bank of North Florida was closed by the Office of Thrift Supervision. The FDIC was named Receiver. TD Bank, National Association, Wilmington, DE acquired all deposit accounts.
The FDIC as Receiver for First Federal Bank of North Florida, Palatka, FL has taken all actions necessary to terminate the Receivership Estate. The Receiver published a legal notice of intent to terminate the receivership on February 3, 2020 and has made all dividend distributions required by law.
Effective October 1, 2020, the Receiver was discharged and the Receivership Estate was terminated and ceased existence as a legal entity.
