Failed Bank Information for Community Banks of Colorado, Greenwood Village, CO

On Friday, October 21, 2011, Community Banks of Colorado was closed by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. The FDIC was named Receiver. Bank Midwest, National Association, Kansas City, MO acquired all deposit accounts.

The FDIC as Receiver for Community Banks of Colorado, Greenwood Village, CO has taken all actions necessary to terminate the Receivership Estate. The Receiver published a legal notice of intent to terminate the receivership on April 27, 2021 and has made all dividend distributions required by law.

Effective October 1, 2021, the Receiver was discharged and the Receivership Estate was terminated and ceased existence as a legal entity.

Receivership Status: TERMINATED

All deposit accounts, excluding the Cede & Co. deposits, were transferred to Bank Midwest, National Association, Kansas City, MO ("assuming institution"). Former Community Banks of Colorado locations reopened as branches of Bank Midwest, National Association.

Your transferred deposits were separately insured from any accounts you may have already had at Bank Midwest, National Association for at least six months after the failure of Community Banks of Colorado.

You may withdraw your funds from any transferred account without an early withdrawal penalty until you enter into a new deposit agreement with Bank Midwest, National Association as long as the deposits are not pledged as collateral for loans.
