FDIC Makes Public November Enforcement Actions

WASHINGTON — The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) today released a list of orders of administrative enforcement actions taken against banks and individuals in November 2023.  There are no administrative hearings scheduled for January 2024.

The FDIC issued 12 orders and one Notice of Charges (Notice) in November 2023.  The administrative enforcement actions in those orders consisted of five consent orders, three prohibition orders, two orders terminating consent orders, one order to pay civil money penalty (CMP), and one order dismissing both a notice of assessment of CMPs and order to pay.  The Notice seeks an order to cease and desist and an order for restitution.
