WASHINGTON – The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Advisory Committee on Economic Inclusion (ComE-IN) will meet on Thursday, October 27, to discuss the 2021 FDIC National Survey of Unbanked and Underbanked Households. The committee will also discuss the importance of maintaining confidence in banks and deposit insurance in an increasingly digital banking environment, and key challenges facing their communities.
In addition, the FDIC is pleased to announce that Marla Bilonick, President & CEO, National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB), Washington, D.C., has agreed to become the newest member of the ComE-IN and will participate in the upcoming meeting.

ComE-IN was established by the FDIC Board of Directors in November 2006 to provide the agency with advice and recommendations on important initiatives to expand access to banking services for underserved populations.
