Summary: | The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control has published Executive Order 13338, implementing sanctions against Syria. |
On May 11, 2004, the Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
issued a press release indicating that the President of the United States issued Executive
Order 13338-Blocking Property of Certain Persons and Prohibiting the Export of Certain Goods
to Syria. This order restricts specific goods and services that may be sent to or from the
United States. Attached is a copy of the order, which explains the restrictions.
