SUBJECT: Missing Official Checks

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has been informed by the Community Bank, Covina, California, that 300 of the bank's official checks are missing and presumed stolen from a shipment from the check printer.

The missing official checks are numbered 067484300 through and including 067484599. The checks are light gray with burgundy print, with the exception of the bank's name and address printed in dark gray. The check numbers are printed in black. A copy of one of the bank's official checks is attached for your information.
